Crimson Trace Green Laser
Part of the delay I was told was told is that green lasers use a lot more battery power and after playing with other design ideas the Trigger Guard styled laser design at this point is the most practical way to implement a green laser on a pistol while giving the end user a decent battery life span for the unit.
The Crimson Trace Green Laser is currently available for the three top selling self defense pistols Glock ,Smith and Wesson MP and the Springfield XD.
Why you should upgrade to a Green Laser ? more visibility in day time and it looks even more spectacular at night. Ever tried using a red laser in the day ? you can barely see it.

Enter the Protech Bark-9TM. Made by a company called Protech the vest is constructed of a Cordura nylon material and can take Type II and Type IIIA ballistic plates.
The vest is designed to cover the dogs heart and lungs and also comes with an ID slot to easily identify the dog as a law enforcement dog.
Some may think this is unnecessary saying it just a damn dog. However consider the time and effort put in to training a police dog and the fact the dog over time has become acclimated to its handler and environment as well as the dogs success rate in its given field be it narcotics,explosives,search etc. I have no word on cost but I am guessing it should not be as pricey as a larger vest made for humans. The one concern may be weight and how it could impede the dogs speed or performance while carrying out a particular task. For more info visit the Protech site.

Smith and Wesson MP shield
Smith and Wesson is set to launch a new single stack thin MP pistol tomorrow April 12th 2012 dubbed the Smith and Wesson MP shield .
The Smith and Wesson MP shield will have a slim design and feature a single stack magazine.
The Smith and Wesson MP shield is made it appears to compete in the thin 9mm conceal carry market dominated by the Kel Tec PF9 for years.
The Smith and Wesson MP shield will be tackling other new commers to the same market like the Ruger LC9 and the Diamondback DB9.
However giving the Smith and Wesson MPs reputation for reliability and accuracy the Smith and Wesson MP shield should prove to be a force to be reckoned with in this market.
