Yesterday I blogged about how Ruger had stopped taking orders until the end of may because of the large amount of orders they took in for the first quarter.
That does not mean they stopped coming up with new guns. Ruger like Remington is one of the few American made multi-million selling gun companies. Meaning they have more than one gun that has sold over a million units. For Ruger both the Ruger LCP and the Ruger 10/22 has sold over a million units each.
But Ruger not one to sit on their hinds and count the money, just keeps coming up with new toys us brass spitters love. Enter the Ruger 10/22 Take Down Rifle.
Here is the skinny as quoted by Ruger:

Readily separated into two subassemblies, the Ruger 10/22 Takedown™ offers a convenient transport and storage option for the popular Ruger® 10/22®. As reliable and accurate as every 10/22®, the Ruger 10/22 Takedown™ makes it even easier to keep America's favorite rimfire rifle by your side.
The barrel and forend of the Ruger 10/22 Takedown™ are easily separated from the action and buttstock by pushing a recessed lever, twisting the subassemblies, and pulling them apart. Reassembly is the reverse of takedown, and is quick and easy.
The Ruger 10/22 Takedown™ is shipped in a ballistic nylon backpack-style case that features internal sleeves which hold the subassemblies. External pockets with MOLLE webbing provide storage for magazines, ammunition, and other accessories. "

Ruger = smiling to the bank
Ruger made so much sales this first quarter they are not taking anymore orders until end of may. The news also sent their stock price up 115%. Cha Ching !

Strike One Pistol with In line barrel
Aresenal Firearms just produced another winner in addition to their double barrel 1911 pistol.
The Strike one pistol has an inline barrel so it is way more accurate than pistols using the tilted barrel system see the video below.
