Top Shot - On History Channel
Top Shot on History Channel is reality show based on sharp shooting which premiered on Sunday June 6th 2010. The show is based off two teams the Red and Blue. Each team is trying to out do the other team to be the top shot.
I caught the first episode today and it was very nice. Any true gun fan will love this show.
This first episode had the teams (16 shooters) shooting 4 different rifles from different war eras and going through obstacle courses for the chance to win $100,000.
The Blue Team kicked ass ! The Red team failed to past the first of the four rifle stages and lost.
The challenge included two members from each team a spotter and shooter and they would alternate between roles. Mike and Andre represented the Red Team. Andre made his shots and Mike failed to do so.
Because of this the red team went on to voting elimination round where their team members had the opportunity to to vote them off or each other.
The voting system in this reality show was a little different though. There was no anonymous voting. Instead each team members (red team) name was placed on small targets and the team members had the opportunity to shoot the name of the person they wanted to vote off .
The two people with the most shots on their name targets would then face off in a shooting match and the loser would go home. In the end Mike went home.
Overall I think this a very good show and it will do wonders to make shooting sports more main stream. Each new episode airs at 10pm EST Sundays on the History Channel.
If your work nights like me and can't catch it then try Comcast OnDemand.
